A trauma-informed practitioner isn’t a magical unicorn. They’re someone who is deeply committed to integration and have put the work in so they can model and lead other people into their shadows. This is why when I met Patty, I knew I needed to share her voice on this podcast.
It's so clear that Patty loves helping people. She loves to empower people to move towards their goals + dreams by showing them how to leverage their unique interests and abilities to foster more connection + compassion in their lives. She has an impressive pedigree of advanced degrees in education but she walked away from the classroom to follow her own path. She is now a Trauma-Informed Teacher Consultant who works with teachers and students to bring a healing perspective into the classroom. Patty’s well-rounded approach draws on her experience as an ordained holistic minister, student of energy healing, and education in Social Emotional Learning and Trauma Informed Teaching.
Patty is an author, consultant, speaker and trainer as well as a volunteer, employee and advisor for stellar local and global non-profits and I am so excited to share her voice and her story as inspiration for your own journey.
