Show Notes

This episode is going to be valuable for you if you were not exposed to healthy modeling of how to work through challenges in relationships. The thing is that our parents were trying their best with the tools that they had. Many of us had parents that didn’t have very good tools.

Today, I’ve invited Jeremy Goldberg, coach, author, and podcast host. I wanted to have a conversation with him because as he put it, he’s someone who has “met rock bottom, planted a seed, grew a tree and climbed out of the hole his mind made.”

What you’ll learn this episode:

  • The importance of self-regulation in relationships
  • How to approach relationships as a scientific experiment
  • Radical honesty as initiation into relationships
  • The choices we have when we are in discomfort
  • The value of our shadowy aspects and emotions
  • Using the 5 love languages to self-regulate and co-regulate
